Confidentiality is as important to us at PreScribe - InventAsia as it is to all our clients.  We utilise several methods to ensure security and confidentiality.  By using only our SSL encrypted website or our own File Transfer Protocol site (FTP), your files are secure with us.  Non-confidential work can also be e-mailed to us if preferred.

InventAsia enforces the following procedures to make sure that all data and information remains secure:

• Server housed in independent room in UK from remainder of production unit with redundant mirror server at a separate site as back up for any disaster recovery.
• We process the entire transcription work.
• Access to servers is limited to authorised IT personnel.
• InventAsia adheres to Internet security protocols with advanced infrastructure.
• SSL 256 bit encryption - UserTrust and SecureTrust website verification.
• Unique username and login ID for each user with facility to change own password.
• All external drives, serial and USB ports are blocked on staff computers, no portable memory devices allowed in production area.
• Internet access regulated and applications that allow pasting of text are blocked.
• For medical transcription we do not receive patient identifiable data – dictation is anonymised using unique ID numbers, thus making it impossible for us to identify a patient but at the same time making it easy to identify within the hospital only.
• Personnel receive regular training on key policies including Data Protection.
• Confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements are signed by every employee upon engagement.
• All servers and PC’s run the latest virus and firewall protection software, updated at regular intervals.
• Our systems and procedures comply with the HIPAA and ISO27001 security standards.

Our transcription processes have been developed to ensure the highest level of client information safety to meet Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), NHS Information Governance and ISO27001 compliance.  InventAsia continues to monitor and strictly follow the regulations, changes and ongoing compliance standards.  Quality Assurance (QA) is conducted in accordance with ISO9001.
